Art and photography students of Northampton High School will showcase their work at Hosmer Gallery during the month of May. Teachers Lisa Leary, Sheryl Jaffe and Michael Jacobson-Hardy coordinated the exhibit, which includes Honors Art 1-4 students' work, Ceramics 1 & 2, Graphic Design, Drawing & Painting, Photography and Foundations in Art.

The JFK PTO along with Will Bangs, 6th grade Social Studies, English & Reading teacher will be featuring American Teacher, A Documentary on Wednesday, April 25^th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. The film will be shown in the NHS Auditorium and admission is free!

The free showing of this 80 minute documentary will be followed by a Q&A session led by Will Bangs, JFK 6th grade teacher and a recent recipient of the 2012 recipients of the Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Awards.

Out For The Long Run is an inspirational documentary that shows that even in the world of high school athletics, there's a place for GLBT youth.
