Local Scholarships for Seniors
There are a number of scholarships available to NHS seniors that are offered through the generosity of local community groups and organizations. The process of applying for these involves using a single common application to apply for any of several scholarships. The scholarships for which this application form may be used are listed below, and a link to the form itself can be found at the bottom of the page. It is also available in the Guidance Office.
The application for these scholarships will be due March 1, 2012 in the Guidance Office. Please note that each scholarship has distinct qualifying criteria which students should pay attention to. With the exception of the Kathleen M. Sheehan Award, students are asked to write a very brief essay for each of the scholarships they are applying for, addressing the ways in which they fulfill the criteria for that scholarship.
Dollars for Scholars: This scholarship uses a separate application, which is available at the bottom of the page to either download, print, and mail, or to fill out on your computer and email. See "Directions for emailing Dollars for Scholars Application" below the descriptions of our other local scholarships.
