Mathematics

We believe that Mathematics is essential for all students. The Mathematics curriculum endeavors to create a learning environment that provides equal opportunities to empower all students to become mathematically literate in order to survive, as well as to succeed and prosper as productive members of a technological society.

The Mathematics curriculum is focused on the classroom as a mathematical community where the students are individually and cooperatively engaged in exploring, conjecturing, thinking and making connections between mathematics, other disciplines, and real-life situations.
