Booster Week is Coming! Join the Festivities!

That’s right. You heard it here at HampHighHappenings…Booster Week begins with the first ever Booster Week Kick-off Dance with DJ Phil, an extraordinary DJ who had last years seniors on their feet at the prom. This event will be Saturday, Oct. 24th in the high school gym. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door and enter you in a raffle. Students must attend NHS to participate.
Each day of the week has a specific theme. Monday is Pajama Day; Tuesday is Formal Day; Wednesday is currently top secret (it will reflect the theme of the class float); Thursday is Halloween Day and Friday is School Spirit Day so plan on wearing blue and gold.
On Wednesday there is a parade and block dance. Class floats will be judged in the NHS parking lot (at 7 p.m.) before the parade leaves and heads downtown to City Hall (at 7:30 p.m.). The Block Dance will take place on Gothic Street at 8:30 p.m. Consider joining the celebration of Northampton High School.
The classic Powder Puff Game will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday night (no points are awarded for this…just pride).
On Friday students will end the day with a Pep Rally. Rally Day games will take place during lunch and during the rally where we hope to “raise the roof” on the stadium with our school pride.
And returning this year will be a Booster Day Carnival, beginning at 12 noon (and running until 4 p.m.) in the athletic fields at NHS. The carnival has a range of activities sponsored by various sports team. This is a fund raiser for the athletic program. For more information on some of the activities click here.
And don't forget that there is still time to purachse a Meadow Muffins Megabucks ticket...you may be the winner of up to $1000. Tickets available at the athletic fields on Saturday morning. Come early...ticket sales will close at ~12:15 p.m. Support NHS Athletics!
